'A Very Sweet Girl': Town of Babylon Adoptable Pet Of The Week
Darla is a puppy who loves attention and has a "good nature" about her. Will you be her forever home?

TOWN OF BABYLON, NY — Darla, an 8-month-old puppy, is the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter's Pet Of The Week.
This young lady arrived at the shelter on July 25 at 7 months old, after growing up in a yard with her littermates.
"Darla is a very sweet girl ready for a full journey in a new home," the shelter writes.

She will need to learn about living inside a home and about "all the wonderful attention a dog can receive when not living as a pack."
Darla's mom is a Belgian Malinois and her dad is a Husky/Lab mix. She will need exercise and mental stimulation while she continues to grow into a dog.

Volunteers said that Darla is a "smart and a quick learner", though she is still working on learning how to not jump on you. She loves attention and has such a good nature about her.
"Darla has been with us a month already, a month longer than a dog her age should spend inside an animal shelter," the shelter said. "With a little time and investment, Darla will make you so happy that you chose her!"
