Village of Babylon Cancels Summer Programs For Wednesday
The programs are canceled due to excessive weather, the Village says.
BABYLON VILLAGE, NY — The Village of Babylon has canceled all summer programs on Wednesday, due to excessive heat and high heat index.
The announcement was made Wednesday morning on the Village's social media pages.
Programs canceled on Wednesday are: Art, Basketball, Gymnastics, Tennis and Theatre. The Golf Program will still be running, the Village said.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to reach 84 degrees on Wednesday, with a humidity level of 69 percent.
Scheduled activities will continue on Thursday.
