Long Island Father And 6-Year-Old Found Dead Inside Home: Police
Police believe the incident to be an apparent suicide.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A man and his 6-year-old daughter are dead, after police found both deceased in a West Babylon home on Friday evening, Suffolk County Police said.
Officials discovered the body of a 34-year-old man inside a Walker Street home at about 5:35 p.m., after receiving a 911 call from the man's family member.
Police also found a 6-year-old girl — the man's daughter — also deceased in the home.

While the case is still under investigation, police believe the incident is an apparent suicide.
An autopsy is being conducted to determine the child’s cause of death, police said.
