West Babylon Schools Unite To Promote Drug-Free Living
Elementary schools kick off Red Ribbon Week.
WEST BABYLON, NY — Elementary schools across the West Babylon School District were a sea of red on Oct. 27 as students and staff celebrated Red Ribbon Week and showed their commitment to living drug-free.
Tooker Avenue and Santapogue Elementary Schools hosted their own festivities, while South Bay and John F. Kennedy Elementary Schools teamed up for a joint celebration, supported by their Parent-Teacher Associations.
Students, district administrators, board of education members, and local officials all learned about the history and importance of Red Ribbon Week and pledged to make healthy, positive choices.

Throughout the week, the schools will continue the celebration with themed spirit days aimed at promoting kindness, respect and a drug-free lifestyle.
