WEST BABYLON, NY— Sixth graders at West Babylon Junior High School came together to spread holiday cheer by creating more than 150 handmade Thanksgiving cards for residents of East Neck Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Students filled each card with warm wishes, thoughtful messages, and artwork meant to remind residents that they are cared for during the holiday season. The activity encouraged students to embrace gratitude, empathy, and the importance of giving back to their community.
