Woman Critically Hurt in Wrong-Way DWI Crash: Police
A 26-year-old man was arrested after the crash on Long Island early Saturday.

WEST BABYLON, NY – A 26-year-old man was arrested following a wrong-way crash that critically injured a passenger in his car, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, Jose Gonzalez, of Wyandanch, was driving a 2012 Honda south in the northbound lanes of Straight Path, near Gordon Avenue, in West Babylon when his car collided with a northbound 2009 Mercedes-Benz at about 2 a.m.
A passenger in the Honda, 36-year-old Olga Membreno, of Wyandanch, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center where she was listed in critical condition.

Gonzalez and the driver of the Mercedes, 54-year-old Baldwin Henry, of Dix Hills, were also taken to Good Samaritan to be treated for minor injuries.
Gonzalez was charged with DWI and was scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip Saturday.
