1,500 Illegal Fireworks Seized By Police In Bay Shore: Police
Suffolk County police seized 1,500 illegal fireworks worth $5,000 from a Bay Shore warehouse on Monday after receiving a tip, police say.

BAY SHORE, NY — More than 1,500 fireworks were seized from a Bay Shore shipping facility on Monday afternoon, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
After receiving a tip, police responded to the Bay Shore warehouse and seized a pallet containing 13 boxes containing 1,500 fireworks with an estimated street value of approximately $5,000, police said.
According to police, the illegal fireworks were to shipped to a Suffolk County business on a later date. The warehouse location is not being released because the investigation is ongoing.
