Bay Shore Police Blotter: Cash Robbery, Forced Sex Act

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

5/27/2024 Mitchell Barr Jr, 37, of Bay Shore, stole cash from a person on East Main Street in Patchogue on March 1, police said. He was arrested in Bay Shore and charged with third-degree robbery and first-degree criminal sex act by force for an incident that occurred on December 30, police said. Police said no further information was immediately available regarding the sex act.
