Driver Seriously Injured In Head-On Bay Shore Crash: Police
The crash occurred on Tuesday, police said.
BAY SHORE, NY —A man is seriously injured in after a wrong-way crash in Bay Shore on Tuesday, Suffolk County police said.
At about 7:28 a.m., a Camaro traveling southbound on 5th Avenue crossed into the northbound lane, just north of Santam Court, and struck a 2016 Ford box truck head on.
The driver of the box truck suffered serious injuries and the driver of the Camaro suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The drivers were alone in their vehicles and were taken to South Shore University Hospital for treatment of injuries. Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
