Driver Wanted After Hit-And-Run Hospitalized Teen In Bay Shore: Police
Suffolk police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run in Bay Shore, police say.

BAY SHORE, NY — The Suffolk County Police Department is asking for the public's public's help identifying and locating a driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-fun in Bay Shore in September.
According to police, a 16-year-old female was crossing Manor Lane when she was struck by a white pickup truck turning from westbound Bay Shore Road to southbound Manor Lane on Sept.
20 around 8:05 p.m.
Police believe the vehicle is a 2020-2024 GMC 2500 or 3500 pickup truck.

The victim was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
