Man Killed After Car Goes Aflame In Brightwaters Crash: Police
The vehicle left the roadway onto the curb and struck an overpass, police say.
BRIGHTWATERS, NY — A man is dead after his car crashed into an overpass and caught on fire in Brightwaters on Saturday, Suffolk County Police said.
Devin Wolfe, 30, of Massapequa, was driving a 2017 Infiniti sedan northbound on Howells Road at about 4:43 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway onto the curb and struck a Sunrise Highway overpass.
Upon impact, the vehicle caught fire. Wolfe was pronounced dead by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.
