Traffic Advisory: Lindenhurst Roads Slated For Closure During Parade

LINDENHURST, NY — The Suffolk County Police Department is advising motorists of road closures in Lindenhurst during the Lindenhurst National Little League Parade on Sunday.

At 1 p.m. the parade will begin at Hoffman and Wellwood Avenues and end at Hartford Street at Ithica Park Baseball Field, the police department said.

The First Precinct advises motorists to use alternate routes to avoid "possible heavy traffic."

Those walking in the parade will line up at the park gazebo at 12:30 p.m. After the parade begins at 1 p.m., opening day festivities will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by the baseball game at 2:30 p.m.
