Woman and Teen Threatened, Robbed Drivers In Suffolk Crash: NY Police
The duo were involved in a minor collision when they threatened the drivers with a gun, state police say.
BAY SHORE, NY — A woman and a teenager were arraigned in court on Wednesday, after they took money from and threatened two drivers with a gun, New York State Police said.
Brittany Larrea, 22 of Medford, was charged with three counts of first-degree robbery and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
The passenger, a juvenile under the age of 18, was charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, second-degree menacing, second-degree reckless endangerment and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

On Oct. 7, shortly after 11:30 p.m., a minor collision involving three cars — one of them being Larrea's — occurred in the southbound lanes of the Sagtikos State Parkway in the area of exit S3, Pine Aire Drive, near Bay Shore.
The drivers of two of the vehicles exited their cars ready to exchange information and call 911 to report the collision, state police said.

Shortly thereafter, Larrea and the teenager, who was her passenger, exited from their vehicle.
The teenager then pulled a gun on the occupants of one of the involved vehicles from the collision, demanding money, and fired a round into the ground, state police said.
The two then stole numerous wallets containing U.S. Currency, credit cards and a pair of Air Jordan sneakers and fled the scene.
After a thorough investigation by the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and Community Stabilization Unit, the Larrea and the juvenile were arrested and proceeds of the robbery were recovered, state police said.
The two were remanded to Suffolk County Correctional Facilities in lieu of bail.
Larrea’s bail was set at $25,000 cash bail, $100,000 bond, $200,000 partially secured bond. The juvenile’s bail was set at $20,000 cash bail, $40,000 bond, $100,000 partially secured bond.
