Bayside Blood Donors To Get Free Mets T-Shirt At Annual Drive

The​ 11th Annual Summer Blood Drive will take place on Aug. 10 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — New Yorkers willing and able to donate their blood next month in Bayside will receive a free Mets T-shirt.

The 11th Annual Summer Blood Drive will take place on Aug. 10 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center at 23-92 Bell Boulevard (between Chip City and Boston Market).

The event is organized by Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein, who represents Bayside, and the New York Blood Center.

“A single blood donation is a gift that can save up to three lives," said Braunstein.

Blood donors will also enter into a sweepstakes to win a six-pack of Mets tickets.
