Bayside Hills Civic Board Of Directors Seats Up For Grabs

Those interested in running have until Oct. 1 to reach out to the BHCA election chair.

BAYSIDE, NY — Community-minded Baysiders have until next month to make their bid to join the Bayside Hills Civic Association board.

The Bayside Hills Civic Association — a homeowner membership organization that represents 1,200 local residents — set an Oct. 1 deadline to announce campaigns for seats on the board of directors.

The civic group puts its focus on public safety, beautification and homeowner rights, according to its website.

There are currently 16 board members including BHCA president Michael Feiner.

"The BHCA has room for a couple of new Board members," Feiner told Patch. "We are always open to new ideas. This would bring new concepts, awareness and expertise to an already dedicated board of directors serving and representing our community."

Elections will be on Nov. 29 and those elected will be expected to start serving January 2023, according to the civic association.
