Bayside Hills Civic Association Hosts Candidate Forum

The Bayside Hills Civic Association will hold a virtual meet-and-greet Tuesday with candidates running to represent Northeast Queens.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — The Bayside Hills Civic Association will hold a virtual meet-and-greet Tuesday night with candidates for elected office representing Northeast Queens.

The candidates' night kicks off at 8 p.m. on the video-conferencing platform Zoom.

Candidates who confirmed their attendance include U.S. Rep. Grace Meng and her Republican opponent Thomas Zmich, Queens borough president candidates Donovan Richards and Joann Ariola, state Sen. John Liu and his Republican opponent Elisa Nahoum and Assembly Member Edward Braunstein and his Republican opponent John-Alexander Sakelos.

Assembly Member Nily Rozic, whose re-election bid is uncontested, is also slated to attend.

All the candidates will be on the ballot on Election Day on Nov. 3.
