Bayside Holds Toy Drive For Military Families
The drive, hosted by state Sen. John Liu, is for military families of the U.S. Army's 77th Sustainment Brigade in Fort Totten.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS – Veteran families will receive toys through Bayside’s annual holiday toy drive, where New Yorkers can drop off unopened and unwrapped gifts.
The drive, hosted by State Senator John Liu, is for military families of the U.S. Army’s 77th Sustainment Brigade in Fort Totten.
“Our veterans make sacrifices great and small all year long, but it is especially difficult for their families during the holidays when they can’t spend time together,” said Liu in a statement.
