Bayside Wins Snowiest NYC Area Title, Neighbors Celebrate
Days after a storm pummeled Bayside with over 13 inches of snow, locals are still happily sharing images of the snow-filled neighborhood.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Snowbanks from Saturday's major nor'easter are starting to melt across New York City, but the snow might take longer to thaw in Bayside.
The neighborhood earned the title of NYC's snowiest area during Saturday's snowstorm, when it was pummeled by over 13 inches of snow, the National Weather Service reported.
Baysiders, though, are proud of the "snowiest neighborhood" title, with hundreds still taking to social media to share pictures of snow-covered parks and excerpts from televised interviews in the neighborhood.
