Bayside Winter Art Show Opens Call For Submissions

BAYSIDE, QUEENS – Artists in Queens looking to show their work in a popular Bayside location next year can submit their art for the neighborhood’s Winter Art Show.

The Bayside Historical Society is hosting its 22nd edition of the Winter Art Show all through the month of February, calling on artists 18 years and older who live, work or attend school in Queens to submit their artwork.

The art will be showcased on the Society’s website through online galleries and at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center.

The organization is accepting submissions of two-dimensional works in oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, digital, multi-media, photography, or three-dimensional works in stone, metal, ceramic, fiber, wood, and other materials.

Submissions must be recent works created within the last five years and art previously exhibited at the organization’s shows are not eligible.

There is a $15 hanging fee for each piece displayed, and the artist may display up to two works.
