Bayside Woman Went Missing From Long Island Hospital Last Week
Claudia Alexandru of Bayside was last seen leaving a Long Island hospital on Dec. 9th. As of Monday she is still missing, police said.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Police are asking for help finding a Bayside woman who went missing from a Long Island hospital last week.
Claudia Alexandru, 34, lives in Bayside at 42-26 204th Street. On the early evening of Dec. 9th, around 4:30 p.m., she was seen leaving Nassau County Medical Center on Long Island.
Alexandru hasn't been missing since, said police, who were looking for her as of Dec. 13th.

Police described her as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 110 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair.
The NYPD shared a photo of Alexandru and asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
