How are you today, Bayside? Here's five things you ought to know about for your Friday:

1. Not to jump to any conclusions or anything, but one of our Bayside neighbors, Joel Bondy, director of the city's Office of Payroll Administration, has been implicated in something kind of big. The Daily News reports that Bondy, "oversaw countless delays and cost overruns on [a] $700-million-plus project, while letting two crooks run wild in the agency, prosecutors say."

2. The Parish of St. Robert of Bellarmine at Bayside tonight is having a concert, Noel: A Night of Everlasting Love.  will take place at Flushing Town Hall on Friday, Dec. 17th at 8:45 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door.

3. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church of Bayside hosts  tonight and every Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the Parish auditorium. All are welcome to join and win prizes — and help the cause of keeping the school's tuition down.

4. Today is the  at the Al Oerter Recreation Center in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Rides, games and other free stuff can be found therein.

5. How, exactly, does one top a? It'll be a mixed crowd at the Bay Terrace Branch of the library, of kids and adults.
