The free shows, which include music and a charity raffle, will be held at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center. The next show is Tuesday July 20.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — One of Bayside's major shopping centers is the backdrop for a series of classic car shows this summer.
The Bay Terrace Shopping Center, in partnership with Cord Meyer Development Company, is bringing a selection of classic cars, live music, and a charity raffle, to the shopping center's parking lot at 212-45 26th Avenue.
The free car shows, which kicked off last week, will also be hosted on July 20, August 3, August 17, and August 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

In addition to live music from popular cover bands like Contraband, Chicken Head Rocks, and Bootleg Five, the event includes a 50/50 raffle benefiting Saint Mary's Hospital for Children, which operates the state's only medical day care program for young adults with disabilities and recently won an award for its high quality care.
The raffle is sponsored by Jackie DeLuca and the Queens Classic Car Club.

Cord Meyer CEO Matthew Whalen described this summer's first car show as a "success" adding that the Bay Terrace shopping center is also a "community destination that presents fun events like the car show alongside important human services, including blood drives, job fairs, and dress-for-success initiatives."
Last month the shopping center hosted a job fair and free pop-up boutique for people in need.
