Dead Woman Found In Car Abandoned Near Citi Field, Police Say
The abandoned car where the dead woman was found was parked on a piece of city-owned property being paved for development.

QUEENS, NY — A dead woman was found in the back of an abandoned car near Citi Field Monday afternoon, police said.
Police discovered the 32-year-old woman's lifeless body about 1 p.m. in the back seat of a Honda CRV parked at 35th Avenue and 127th Avenue in Willets Point, according to the NYPD.
Medical first responders rushed to the area and pronounced the woman dead, police said.

The 32-year-old's cause of death has yet to be determined by the Medical Examiner, but police told QNS that her body didn't have signs of trauma.
Her identity hasn't been released yet, since police are still in the process of notifying her family, according to the NYPD.
