Dozens Of Vintage Cars To Take Over Fort Totten Park

Starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, park bystanders can walk up to the Castle at Fort Totten to view the antique automobiles at no cost.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS – Fort Totten Park will travel back in time this weekend as it preps to host its eighth edition of the classic car showcase with dozens of vintage-style vehicles.

Starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, park bystanders can walk up to the Castle at Fort Totten to view the antique automobiles at no cost.

“It’s different because there’s no judging, no trophies, no awards. People just appreciate the cars and conversations,” said Jim Barnes, the event organizer. “It’s the most casual show in New York.”
