Final Free Concert Coming To Francis Lewis Park On Saturday
The performance by an Italian singer is the final show in a waterfront concert series set to the backdrop of the Throgs Neck Bridge.
WHITESTONE, QUEENS — A northeast Queens summer concert series is coming to an end this Saturday.
The final show, which is one of three performances hosted at Francis Lewis Park since July, will bring Brooklyn-bred Italian singer Angelo Venuto to Queens at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25.
While attendance is free, show-goers are asked to bring lawn chairs and blankets to the park, located at 3rd Avenue and 147 Street, in order to sit down and enjoy the music — along with the view of the Throgs Neck Bridge.
