Francis Lewis Park To Offer Free Concerts Through September
The community groups Friends of Francis Lewis Park and We Love Whitestone joined forces to bring live musical performances at the park.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A set of five concerts is taking place at a park in Whitestone starting in July and is scheduled to run until September.
The community groups Friends of Francis Lewis Park and We Love Whitestone joined forces to bring live musical performances at the park located at 3rd Avenue, between Parsons Boulevard and 147th Street.
DJ Danny Mignano started out the series on July 8, and the 80's party band Radio Daze followed on July 22.

The next concert is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 19, with the rock band 2Complicated. The Top 40 ensemble The Projekt will perform on Saturday, Aug. 26, and Angelo Menuto & Lisa Messina on Saturday, Sept. 23.
All shows will start at 7 p.m.
