House Hunt: Here Comes The Flood
After a slow start to spring, a bevvy of Little Neck area properties showing this weekend
After a prolonged down period in the U.S. housing market (remember those halcyon days of 2006? Anyone?), it looks like things might be looking up for area homeowners and potential buyers.
With job numbers both nationally and here in Queens heading in the right direction, and evidence that area home prices are beginning to tick up after a mostly-flat 2010 and early 2011, more and more Little Neck properties seem to be hitting the market.
Some highlights of this weekend's open house offerings include a Westmoreland Gardens co-op with an asking price of $299,000 and a four-bedroom, three-bath Cape on the market for under $1 million.
