International Ramen Chain Coming To Bayside This Fall

Kyura Men's Bayside location will be the restaurant's fifth spot in the tri-state area, and its first to carry specialty Taiwanese drinks.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — An international ramen chain is expanding to Bayside this fall, according to a report.

Kyura Men, a ramen restaurant which has hundreds of eateries in Hong Kong and Taiwan, will open a location at 38-35 Bell Boulevard in September, according to the Flushing Post.

The restaurant's outpost in northeast Queens will be its third spot in the World's Borough, and fifth in the tri-state area, alongside locations in Flushing, Union Square, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and a Long Island City site that's slated to open in August.

Kyura Men is best known for its ramen menu, which includes a dozen different dishes ranging from spicy pork ramen to a mild vegetable option.

The restaurant will also serve its specialty burgers, which are made of different kinds of meat — from crispy fried chicken to an eel patty — sandwiched between noodle or rice ramen buns.

In addition to a host of Japanese iced beverages and sodas, the Bayside Kyura Men restaurant will serve TBaar brand bubble teas, smoothies, and fruit juices, according to the Flushing Post.

Kyura Men spokesperson Vanessa Choi told the Flushing Post that the restaurant chose the Bell Boulevard site because of its busy, commercial location, which she said is "a good way to introduce our brand to the neighborhood."

And the Bayside location isn't Kyura Men's only upcoming, stateside expansion. According to the restaurant's website, locations in Chicago and southern California are "coming soon."

Once open, Bayside's Kyura Men location will serve food from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.
