BAYSIDE, QUEENS — The NYPD is looking for a man responsible for mugging two women in broad daylight last week in northeastern Queens.

The afternoon of April 15, the man came up behind a 57-year-old woman walking near 46th Road and 211th Street in Bayside, then pushed her to the ground and took her purse, according to police.

He raced away in a gray SUV, police said.

The man struck again the next morning: A 35-year-old woman was walking near 43rd Avenue and 160th Street when the man approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground and stole her bag, police said.

The man later used one of her credit cards to buy a drink at a Sunoco gas station in New Hyde Park, according to police.

The NYPD is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information on the suspect.
