Netflix TV Show Films In Bayside, City Says

Some residential blocks in Bayside will make their Netflix debut this spring.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Baysiders will see glimpses of their neighborhood on Netflix this spring.

"Manifest," a canceled NBC TV drama that Netflix renewed last year by popular demand, filmed some scenes in Bayside this week, according to a city agency.

Film crews set up at Crocheron Park on Tuesday and shot at some "nearby residential locations," a spokesperson with the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment confirmed with Patch.

"Manifest" centers on the passengers and crew of Flight 828, who land in New York City to learn that their flight had been missing for five years.

As such, the series has filmed in NYC before, specifically in Queens, which is where two of the series' main characters reside.

In addition to shots of Bayside, the upcoming season will also include scenes filmed in Astoria, creator Jeff Rake confirmed on Twitter several months ago.

Fans can expect the 20-episode, fourth season of "Manifest" to come out in the spring of 2022, Marie Claire reported.

Correction: An earlier version of this article said that "Manifest" was filming in Crocheron Park. It has been updated to reflect the fact that film crews parked at the park and filmed in the neighborhood.
