New Thai Spot Near Bell Boulevard Gets Rave Reviews From Neighbors

QUEENS, NY — A new Thai restaurant recently opened near Bell Boulevard, and neighbors in Bayside are pleased.

Thai Social opened last month on the corner of 215th Street and 73rd Avenue in Oakland Gardens, replacing a longstanding kosher delicatessen that shuttered during the pandemic.

Neighbors quickly flocked to the restaurant, many leaving rave reviews.

"If you haven't tried Thai Social you should," one neighbor posted on a Bayside Facebook page this past weekend. "The staff is fantastic and the food is to die for."

The post elicited 50 "likes" and more than a dozen comments from neighbors echoing a similar sentiment.

"Literally just left there. Food was SOOO good. Came out fast and hot. The staff was very attentive. Loved it," wrote one. "The food really is amazing!" said another.

The positive comments continued on the eatery's Instagram page where one neighbor wrote that they've eaten at the restaurant several times already.

Thai Social also has a five-star rating on Yelp, where over two dozen reviewers have left positive comments praising the eatery's food, dessert and service.

"The main dishes are wonderful," wrote one neighbor, who ordered two mains and some side dishes and said the meal was reasonably priced. "The chef deserves applause."
