The 22-year-old reportedly shot his mom's boyfriend multiple times in front of her and her 9-year-old grandson, the DA said.

POMONOK, QUEENS — A young northeast Queens man is facing murder charges in connection to the shooting of his mother's boyfriend, the Queens District Attorney's office announced.
On Tuesday, Nov. 2, Desean McCain, 22, was with his mother in her apartment at the Pomonok Houses. Her 9-year-old grandson and boyfriend, Anthony Ragler, were there too, records show.
Shortly after 7:00 p.m. McCain reportedly shot Ragler multiple times, in a shooting that Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz called "a domestic dispute [that] erupted into chaos and tragedy."

Katz said that "no one has the right to take another person's life. The defendant will now be held accountable in court," she added.
McCain, of Fresh Meadows, was arrested a week after the incident, on Nov. 9, and brought in front of a court, where he was arraigned on a four-count complaint.
