BAYSIDE, QUEENS — The NYPD and Fort Totten are getting a bit scarier — rather, spookier — with a free haunted house opening this Thursday.

Police are joining forces with the city's parks department for the annual "Terror on Totton," a haunted house set up in Bayside's Fort Totten park — which is already known to be "ghost-like."

The haunted house is open every evening from 4:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights in Oct., starting this Thursday, Oct. 7.

While the spooky event is free, it is recommended for kids 12 and up, according to the NYPD, since the house includes haunted operating rooms, killer clown circuses, and roaming ghouls.

Learn more about the haunted house, which is located in building 604 on 604 Little Bay Road, here.
