Queens County Farm Museum To Celebrate Native American Heritage Month

QUEENS — As Native American Heritage Month commences, the Queens County Farm Museum is set to host a celebration to honor American Indian dancers.
The event, scheduled for Nov. 13, will include a craft and food market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a performance expected to start at 2 p.m.
The event will feature a performance by the Thunderbird American Indian Dancers, the oldest resident Native American dance company in New York.

Dance company members focus on providing scholarships for young American Indian students.
Online tickets are required for the event. While the market is free, tickets for the performance start at $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 4 to 11. Children ages 3 and under enter at no cost.
