QUEENS, NY — The social services organization Commonpoint Queens is offering virtual mental health counseling with licensed therapists to help Queens residents cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The counseling service is among a suite of emergency aid programs available during the pandemic, which prompted the organization to suspend all in-person programs and services.
The organization is working to accept a variety of insurance plans for the counseling sessions; the sessions are not necessarily free, a spokesperson said.
