Son Of R&B Music Mogul To Perform At Bayside Castle
James Jones Jr. and his ensemble will take the stage on Sunday, Feb. 5, at the Castle located on 208 Totten Avenue.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — The son of the singer Jimmy Jones, best known for the 1950s song “Handy Man,” will perform at a concert hosted by the Bayside Historical Society this weekend.
James Jones Jr. and his ensemble will take the stage on Sunday, Feb. 5, at the Castle located on 208 Totten Avenue as part of the Passport Concert Series.
The concert in February will celebrate Black History Month by honoring soul music, which originated in the U.S. in the 1950s and 1960s by the Black community.

Tickets for the concert start at $20 for Bayside Historical Society members and $25 for non-members.
The concert is supported by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
