This Week in Bayside: December 19-25

Bayside made such a showing this week with holiday decor.

Here's what happened this week that hasn't been touched by tinsel:

1. Metered parking is going to come Jan. 3, we heard. Turns out, people were unhappy about the increase.

2. We found out that for just-released Census numbers might mean the break-up of our Northeast Queens district.

3. Festivus came and , prompting your local editor to pen a bitty opinion piece.

4. A compromise was reached on the for Ground Zero workers. That meant a lot to Bayside. We can tell from the feedback.

5. We had a total of the moon! Not to be confused with a Total Eclipse of the Heart.
