1 Dead, 1 Critical After Bed-Stuy Motorcycle Crash: Cops

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash in Bed-Stuy over the weekend, according to police.

David Fuller-Gist was riding his motorcycle down Atlantic Avenue with a female passenger around 2 a.m. Sunday when he crashed into a pillar that holds up the elevated Long Island Rail Road, police said.

Emergency responders found Fuller-Gist and the passenger with head trauma and brought them both to Kings County Hospital, police said.

Fuller-Gist, who was 30 years old, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The female passenger, who is 24 years old, is in critical condition, according to police.

Fuller-Gist lived less than a half-mile from where he crashed, records show.
