1 Dead After Bed-Stuy Shooting Over The Weekend: NYPD

BED-STUY, NY — A man was arrested days after a fatal shooting at a Bed-Stuy residence, police said Sunday.

Lashawn Craig, 45, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon related to the Bed-Stuy shooting that killed Timothy Jones, 64, according to the NYPD.

Gunshots rang out from the two men's shared residence on Pulaski Street between Broadway and Stuyvesant Avenue about 9:40 p.m. Friday, according to the NYPD.

Jones was shot multiple times and was rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Craig was arrested and charged Sunday, and was expected in court Monday, court records show.
