1 Dead In Broad Daylight Bed-Stuy Shooting: NYPD

BED-STUY, NY — A 54-year-old man was shot in the chest yesterday on Monroe Street in Bed-Stuy, just before 4 p.m., according to police.

Emergency responders arrived at 751 Monroe Street and took the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he died shortly after, the New York Police Department said.

The identity of the victim is being withheld until the family has been appropriately notified.

The police have not made any arrests yet. The investigation is ongoing.
