13-Year-Old Boy Stabbed In Bed-Stuy, Police Say

BROOKLYN, NY — A 13-year-old boy was stabbed on Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Roosevelt Place and Atlantic Avenue just after school dismissal, New York Police Department officials said.

The boy was stabbed in the lower back by an unknown perpetrator around 3:45 p.m., NYPD officials said.

According to the police, the boy was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brownsville and is expected to survive.

There are no arrests, and the investigation is underway, police said.
