2 Bikers Hospitalized, 1 Critical After Car Hits Them In Brooklyn: NYPD

The driver rear-ended them, authorities said.

BROOKLYN, NY — Two bicyclists were hospitalized, including one in critical condition, after a driver hit them Saturday in Brooklyn, authorities said.

The crash happened at 4:38 p.m. on Vanderbilt Avenue. A driver was traveling northbound when he rear-ended a man and woman riding bicycles between Green and Lafayette Avenues, according to NYPD officials.

Both bikers were taken to the hospital. The man is in critical condition, and the woman is in stable condition as of 6 p.m. Saturday.
