2 Young Men Shot Dead Near Bed-Stuy Over Weekend
Henry McCord, 31, and Sean Alexander Peart, 22, died on the same Saturday in Weeksville.

WEEKSVILLE, BROOKLYN — In the course of a single winter Saturday, two young men were killed in two separate shootings in the Weeksville neighborhood bordering Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights in Brooklyn.
Around 6:10 a.m. on the morning of Dec. 19, 31-year-old Brownsville resident Henry McCord was shot multiple times in the torso on the street outside 802 Herkimer St. by an unknown suspect, according to the NYPD.
The New York Daily News reported that McCord was “standing on the curb arguing with one or more men sitting inside of a sedan” when one of the men opened fire — then sped off down Herkimer Street.
