Amazon Truck Stolen From Bed-Stuy Street, Police Say

The investigation is underway.

BROOKLYN, NY — An unknown man drove off in a stolen Amazon truck on Monday afternoon in Bed-Stuy, New York City Police Department officials said.

The man got into the white box truck and drove away from 203 Quincy St. in Bed-Stuy around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, police said.

The truck was later found several blocks away, at the corner of Dekalb Avenue and Tompkins Avenue, NYPD officials said. Many of the packages inside the truck were ripped open, and some items were taken, according to the NYPD.

The perpetrator fled in an unknown direction, and the investigation is underway, the NYPD said.

There are no arrests at this time, police said.
