ANNOUNCEMENT: Community Board 3 Meets Tonight

The Bedford-Stuyvesant Community Board 3 monthly Public Meeting will be held tonight, March 7, 7:00 pm in the basement level of the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation. Your attendance as a Bed-Stuy resident is highly encouraged.

The agenda for this evening’s meeting will cover:

I.               A Public Hearing—The budget coordinator will present the mayor’s FY 2012 preliminary budget and the responses to the CB 3’s requests

II.              Informational Presentations

• The Infrastructural/Environmental Protection Committee will present a limited overview of on Project HWK1129, the Nostrand Avenue Reconstruction, from Atlantic to Flushing Avenues
• The Infrastructural/Environmental Protection Committee will present an informational session on the proposed B44 select bus service on Nostrand Avenue and Franklin/Bedford Avenues
• The Housing Land Use Committee will present the proposal for rezoning of Bedford-Stuyvesant North
• The Infrastructural/Environmental Protection Committee will present an informational session on the Project for Public Spaces Research for the Utica Avenue Plaza Area
• The Infrastructural/Environmental Protection Committee will present an update on revised plans for the construction of the Utica Avenue subway station elevator
