Atlantic Avenue Station Slated For Repairs, Cleaning
Brooklyn's Atlantic Avenue is one of 14 across NYC slated for a renovation, which could include better lighting and a new paint job.

BED-STUY, NY — Brooklyn's Atlantic Avenue subway station is slated for a renovation and cleaning on an upcoming weekend, authorities announced Wednesday.
The station, sat on Atlantic Avenue near East New York Avenue, is one of 14 stations citywide slated for a repair and cleaning operation, which could include new LED fixtures, repaired concrete, water damage repairs and repainted surfaces.
The renovations will be completed during already planned weekend service outages and last only 55 hours, so commuters return Monday with a shiny new station.
