BED STUY, NY — Bed-Stuy is on pace to see a banner year when it comes to doggo BMs, city data show.

In just three months, the Brooklyn neighborhood has piled up more than half the dog poop complaints sent to 311 in all of 2022, according to the data.

Specifically, Bed Stuy sent 53 complaints in five ZIP codes — 11205, 11206, 11221, 11233 and 11216 — that only saw 100 complaints in all of 2022.

This turd of a trend parallels citywide data that show New York has already received 800 complaints, compared to roughly 600 in the same span last year, 311 data show.

The brown wave prompted city sanitation officials this week to mount an ad campaign aimed at rep-poo-bates who don't pick up after their pups.

"Don't Leave _ _it On The Sidewalk," is the campaign's scatological slogan.

Last year was already a messy time too, as New Yorkers pushed out exactly 2,100 complaints about dog waste on sidewalks, 311 data shows.

Sidewalk poop can be frustrating. One Bed Stuy corner near Gates and Patchen avenues garnered 13 calls on one particular afternoon — and then four more a month later, records show.

Other Bed Stuy locals employed similar tactics, in 2022 and 2023, making multiple reports in rapid succession in a fit of stink-inspired rage.

The sidewalk s--- situation really hit the fan harder in other neighborhoods, at least based off 311 complaints.

Prospect Lefferts Gardens and other neighborhoods in the 11226 ZIP Code led the city for dog waste complaints since January 2022, with 60 total complaints, the data shows.
