Bed-Stuy Man Faces Murder Charge In Rockaway Avenue Killing: Cops

The arrest comes a month after Tyrece Carroll was shot in front of his home, police said.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A Bed-Stuy man has been charged with murder in a fatal shooting on Rockaway Avenue, according to police.

Cobbie Williams, 40, was arrested this week on murder and weapons charges in the death of Tyrece Carroll, who was found shot in front of his home near Broadway last month, according to police.

Carroll, who was 31, was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital after the 3 a.m. shooting, police said.
