Bed-Stuy Man Killed In Hit-And-Run: NYPD

BED-STUY, NY — A 58-year-old Bed Stuy man was fatally struck while crossing the street Friday, police said.

Darryl Younger, of Bed Stuy, was crossing Jackson Avenue in Long Island City about 4:40 a.m. Friday when he was hit by a BMW SUV, according to the NYPD.

The driver took off, and Younger was left lying in the road with injuries, the NYPD said.

Younger was rushed to an area hospital where he later died, police said.
