Bed-Stuy Man Struck By 2 Hit-And-Run Drivers In Prospect Heights: Cops
Stewart Haliburton, died from severe head trauma, according to the NYPD.

BED-STUY, NY — A Bed-Stuy man was fatally struck by two different drivers in a Prospect Heights hit-and-run last month, according to police still looking for the suspects.
Police this week released surveillance video that shows two cars involved in the July 10 crash that claimed the life of Stewart Haliburton, 61, according to police.
Haliburton, 61, was trying to cross Washington Avenue and Dean Street when he was hit by a northbound Toyota RAV 4 with after-market rims that sped away, police said.

The Toyota, possible a 2009 or 2012 model, had no license plate and sustained damage to the bumper and hood, police said.
Haliburton was then hit by a small black SUV heading in the opposite direction on Washington Avenue, police said.

Medics rushed Haliburton, who suffered severe head wounds, to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he later died.
